Are most things from flea markets stolen?

Most stuff at flea markets are just old stuff from people’s houses that they don’t want anymore. In some cases people buy unsold merchandise in bulk that they resell at flea markets. I know at our local market there are a few people who sell toiletries that the dollar store couldn’t get rid of……toothpaste, deoderant, etc. (Who buys old toothpaste?) I’m sure it isn’t unheard of that some things may be stolen but I think the biggest problem with flea markets are people selling knockoff merchandise. I remember when I was into Tommy Hilfiger a few years ago I went to a flea market and there was several booths with knockoff hilfiger merchandise. The stuff was so obviously fake, but the people had even sewn the hilfiger labels inside the shirts!
