Are most PHB Necromancy spells assumed to have Shadow Aspects?
We tried to keep away from morality when designing the magic system. Basically it’s not what type of spell you work; it’s what you do with it. The Shadow Aspect is just the name of a branch of magic dealing with illusion, deception, and force. It also deals with entropic forces, such as shadow and negative energy. However, evil spells such as necromancy have been spread throughout the aspects for example Inflict and Death spells are in the Fire aspect, and spells like Bane and Doom are in the Spirit aspect but Shadow still has good old standbys such as Animate Dead.
