Yes. PHS commissioned officers who are approved for another 2 year tour overseas while still overseas are considered to be given an In Place Consecutive Overseas Tour (IPCOT) assignment and are entitled to additional FEML trips based on the same criteria in the above. FEML travel by the officer/dependents should not be performed within 6 months of the beginning or the end of the tour. Major commands are authorized, on a case-by-case basis, to waive the six month rule when appropriate.
