These days, you haven’t truly arrived until people are Googling you. On that front at least, regional tourism leaders see promising signs that nearly two decades of trying to brand the region as the Lehigh Valley rather than the three distinct cities of Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton are beginning to pay off. The number of people visiting the Lehigh Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau’s Web site by Googling the term ”Lehigh Valley” jumped 14 percent in the organization’s most recent fiscal year, which ended in July, said the group’s president, Mike Stershic.
