Are mopeds/scooters and powered bicycles the same thing?
No mopeds and scooters have clutches, gears and braking systems built into them for higher speeds (like up to 40 or 50 mph) and they consume gas. Motorized bicycles basically have a little motor attached to them to allow the rider some help while peddling and it could be either electric or gas but a very small motor.
