Are moist catfood cans made of aluminum?
Not completely sure if its aluminum or some form of steel… but it almost doesn’t matter. All catfood cans are recyclable; please recycle them. Give them a quick rinse; peel off the paper label, and recycle them. If they go into a landfill, they have the ability to take over 100 years to break down. The gas produced by landfills contain methane, which is one of our greenhouse gases contributing to climate change. 50-75% of the trash we produce each day is recyclable, however only about 20% actually gets recycled.
