Are model railroad or toy train photos allowed?

Many people are surprised to learn that the answer to this question is actually “yes”. The NERAIL Photo Archive was originally set up as a means for members of the NERAIL discussion list to share photos with each other, regardless of content. Since many of us in the railfan community and even the railroad industry are also model railroaders or toy train collectors, photos of these subjects are perfectly acceptable here. I do ask however that folks limit the number of such photos that they contribute to a reasonable amount, since most of the visitors to the Photo Archive are more interested in seeing photos of real, full-sized trains. Please do not post a 100 photo series of the construction of the benchwork for your new model train layout.
