A new book, “A Billion Bootstraps,” explains why micro credit works so well. Longtime ministry leader, Eric Thurman, and philanthropist Phil Smith, who has made significant contributions to Christian micro credit programs in Rwanda, Russia, and numerous other countries wrote the book. Thurman has headed major international organizations including Opportunity International, HOPE International and Geneva Global.
