Are militias racist organizations?
No. This is a common misconception. Racism is not tolerated in any militia I have personally come into contact with. It is theoretically possible that there is a racist militia out there somewhere, but this group would not be accepted by the militia community. This principle is well stated on the KISSATA web page as “Within the KISS concept, we are all GREEN.” Most militia organizations have a strict policy statement against discrimination. The Mission Statement of the Kentucky State Militia states: We accept and welcome all who wish to preserve our freedoms and maintain a civilization we can be proud to leave our children and grandchildren; regardless of race, sex, or religion.
