Are MFAA students required to excel in only their fine arts classes to meet the expectations of the Academy?

Devoting countless hours to portfolios and exhibitions, private lessons, recitals, play productions and UIL, etc. means that MFAA students must have good study habits to balance homework with these and other after-school activities required for each strand. Students must maintain a B average in their fine arts courses and maintain academic eligibility with passing grades in all their classes to qualify for and maintain their Academy status. For more information on strand-specific expectations and requirements, see the Artistic Strands page.
