. HWD enrollees may receive mental health services, if they meet medical necessity requirements for such treatment. HWD enrollees may receive substance abuse treatment services, if they meet requirements set by the Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse (DASA). HWD enrollees obtain mental health and substance abuse treatment services through the same systems as other Medicaid recipients. Mental health services may be obtained from providers who contract with the local Regional Support Network. Substance abuse treatment services may be obtained from providers who contract with DASA.
