Are men afraid of commitment?
Studies show that a married man lives longer and is generally happier and healthier. The question begs an answer, why would men be afraid of commitment? Some would say men are afraid of certain factors that go hand in hand with a marriage. Such as: • Monogamy. It is believed men are afraid of being tied down to just one partner. • Ego. Many say men have a superiority complex and have trouble being in a relationship with today’s liberated woman. • Finances. Certain men are afraid they make too little, or are unwilling to share what they do earn. • Insecurity. Some men fear rejection and are worried about infidelity. Today the divorce rate is over fifty percent. That is to say, most marriages fail. The dating scene is full of divorcees. Times have changed. Years ago it was the norm to get married and stay married. Today men have other choices. Most men are not actually afraid of commitment.
