Are MBAs marketable when switching to non-profit and non-government organizations?
Periodically, students within Michigan State University’s MBA program(s) seek employment in non-profit and/or non-government organizations. I’m seeking recommendations on how to advise them on switching from large for-profit organizations to something unique. In some instances the person will have a “zealot” interest that is believable through stewardship in the area. In other circumstances, they do not. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
