Are Math professors available for assistance?
Vivian Turner, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, devotes up to 5 hours a week in the ACE Lab and in scheduled math labs. Mrs. Turner’s weekly hours are posted in the ACE Lab or call (248) 218-2173. In addition, all RC math instructors are willing to meet with students during office hours, check your class syllabus for those hours. What are math labs? Math labs are scheduled sessions when Mrs. Turner and/or ACE math assistants reserve a classroom and offer 2-3 hours of math support. This informal practice time provides a comfortable setting for asking questions and working with peers until the concepts are understood. It is highly recommended that math students consistently attend these labs. Flyers are posted to announce the time and location of math labs.
