They will probably strengthen by bringing in a couple of players. Franck Ribery has been mentioned but is more likely to be joining Barcelona. Antonio Valencia has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford but Real Madrid are also interested and willing to bid more than United will (around £21.5m if reports are correct). If Man Utd choose not to sign Tevez permanently or the player himself decides to leave, then a move for either Karim Benzema from Lyon or Ezequiel Lavezzi from Napoli are likely.
