Are Macintosh and UNIX computers supported?

Support for non-Windows platforms is limited. There are two main approaches: 1. Using the Banner Web products (Minerva Login web site). These may suffice for some users, in which case all that’s needed is a Web browser, ID, and PIN. Unfortunately, the current versions of the Web products do not provide full functionality. See Banner Web access below for more details. 2. Windows emulation. For many non-Windows computers, software can be obtained which emulates Windows. Banner has been tested successfully at McGill using a couple of these products. See details of platforms and products. If needed, the ISR/Banner Help Desk can provide some limited assistance in setting Banner up with these products.
