Yes they most certainly f-cking are. I noticed the same clear pro-Blues slant. Especially Grant Fox. It was like ‘oh fortunately Rokocoko’s up to it’, and ‘oh that was a vicious hit from Cowan on Gopperth’. What’s really irritating about John MacBeth is that he’s a Judas originally from Wellington. Once upon a time he was biased towards them and biased against Auckland. Now the big cretin’s shifted his alliance. NZ sports commentary and journalism has generally gone to the dogs in the past 15 years IMO. Once it was Keith Quinn now we’ve got incompetent annoying arseholes like ‘Nisbo’, Mexted, Ian Smith and, although I don’t watch Cricket much, that painfully boring Gavin Larsen. Fox knows the game well but he’s no good when Auckland or the Blues are playing. *Sigh* EDIT: I don’t know of any Rugby commentators from the South Island except for Ian Smith. And he metamorphed into an Aucklander about 15 years ago. But if there was a Canterbury commentator you can bet yer **** they would mak
