They are only guaranteed for faults with the clutch components fitted ( in a specialist workshop) at the time i.e release bearing, pressure plate & friction plate, NOT the slave cylinder which only operates the clutch release mechanism. It is one of the things that can fail over time. You will need to replace the slave cylinder ( or buy a repair kit) and friction plate, and clean the pressure plate & fly wheel faces with methylated spirit to remove the brake fluid contamination.
