Are Linx printers suitable for wash down or dusty environments?
Linx 4800, 6200 and 6800 printers have nickel bases and top covers composed of a hardened plastic earning them an IP rating of 55. This means the printers are suitable to withstand a direct water splash. All models of the Linx printers have a positive air option. This option forces a low pressure stream of positively charged air through the printhead. The air steam will prohibit the introduction of air borne contaminants from entering the internal ink system.
