Lindsey Wilson College is accredited by the Commission on College of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award the Associate of Arts, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Master of Arts, and Master of Education Degrees. Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097: Telephone number 404-679-4501). The master’s program is accredited through the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). Both of these is the highest form of accreditation that can be obtained by a college or university. Both programs also meet accreditation curriculum requirements for the Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC). Additionally, LWC is the only school of professional counseling of its kind in the United States.
