Tenants are required to sign a disclosure which explained the relationship between the agent, the owner and the prospective tenant. • In most cases the property manager is a common law agent and thus not required to make the disclosure. • A tenant’s agent, or an agent who is not performing acting as a common law agent would be required to comply with the disclosure law.
