A. All public, private, parochial schools and Intermediate Units, which serve students in grades 6, 7 or 8 are eligible to apply. If these grade levels are dispersed among more than one building, applicants may select a building for implementation at least two of the designated grade levels must occupy the same building. Q. The main page of the program site indicates applications will be accepted 6/1-6/30, however the application guidance indicates the deadline is 7/1 at 5pm. Can you clarify whether the deadline is 6/30 or 7/1 and also whether it is a “received by” or “postmarked by” deadline? A. The deadline for applications is 7/1/09 at 5pm. Applications must be received by the Department of Health by that date. Late applications will not be accepted.
