Almost never. Typically due dates skip over the weekend to the following Monday. For instance, if you check out a DVD on a Wednesday, the 3-day checkout period would make it due on Saturday. But because items are seldom due on weekends, the due date skips over to Monday, giving you an extra two days. However, at the discretion of the library or an instructor, equipment or Reserves may be due on Saturday or Sunday.
