LED TVs are LCD TV’s…the only difference between standard LCD and LED LCD is their back lighting! LED LCD TVs are better then standard LCD TVs but only have one advantage over Plasma…energy consumption. LED TVs consume about 50% less energy then standard LCD and Plasma. It’s always better to go with higher-end brands like Panasonic, Samsung, Sony and LG.
