I’ve put these bulbs in: * Every hallway light fixture — it’s all you need! * A two-bulb lamp that I use as a first floor night light. It’s on a timer so it automatically turns on at dusk and off at dawn. * A living room hanging lamp. Provides enough soft light to move around the living room and to watch TV. I have one or two reading lamps with fluorescent bulbs for when I want to read. * My dining room chandelier. It’s a style like the late 1800s, not a candle fixture. The fixture had seven bulbs. So I’ve gone from 280w incandescent to 91 fluorescent to 14w with LED!! And the lighting is perfect for dining. Soft, not bright and complimentary to candlelight on the table. Almost like a lamp from late 1800s, which is when the house was built. The best price I found on this bulb (at the time) was from JD Power and Lighting on eBay a
