In many cases, LIP is able to partner with the efforts of these programs. It is critical however, that you first check with the program’s administrator or local forester or biologist to be certain that the management practices you are proposing for LIP funds are compatible with the contract or agreement you may have with these other programs. LIP cannot pay for practices already covered by an agreement with another program.
