ARE LABRADOR RETRIEVERS GOOD WITH CHILDREN?
As a breed, Labradors tend to be very family-oriented and excellent with children. However, as with any dog, it is not a good idea to let puppies and children play unattended. Children and puppies tend to be unaware of their own size and strength and could accidentally injure each other. Labradors aren’t likely to intentionally hurt anyone, but could knock a child over when they thought they were playing. But children can also inadvertently hurt a puppy if they aren’t supervised. The best thing to do is to teach your child and new puppy how to behave around one another and you shouldn’t have any problems. DO LABRADOR RETRIEVER’S BARK A LOT? If your Labrador is bored it may, but excessive barking is not generally typical of the breed.
