Are Kodak digital cameras really bad?
A7 – You might want to tell your Mom that a lot of kids write in here to Yahoo Answers complaining about the problems they’ve had with Kodak cameras. She’s probably just not aware of their reputation in digital cameras if she grew up associating “Kodak” with photography. They made excellent film, but cameras (espec. digital cameras) are definitely not their strength. You’re right. The camera you got is also a very inexpensive camera. But it: 1) Might be all she can afford right now, or, 2) She knows you tend to be careless with things and might break a more expensive camera – which would be an awful thing to have happen. Why don’t you tell her you really appreciated her getting you a camera, because you were really excited about the idea of getting one and plan to take very good care of it (using the provided wrist strap, reading the User Guide so it doesn’t break, etc.) – BUT, that you can suggest some other cameras in the same price range that may end up with fewer problems, less nee
