Are Kimora Lee Simmons and Djimon Hounsou a married couple of just pals?
Kimora Lee Simmons and Djimon Hounsou held a commitment ceremony in his native Benin, Africa over the summer, a source confirms to Usmgazine.com. “The couple is very happy and dedicated to each other one hundred percent,” Simmons’ rep tells Us. The source tells Us the couple — currently expecting their first child together — went to Africa to meet Hounsou’s family and decided to have the traditional ceremony “since they knew it was a special opportunity to all be together.” The pair, who donned traditional garb, “did it to show how committed to each other they are in front of his family,” the source says, emphasizing that it was not a wedding.
