Are Killifish and Fighter Fish the same Breed?

Hi No they are not the same fish. They are two different specie of fish. Fighting fish are Anabantoids & Killifish are are members Cyprinodontidae family of fish. Both types of fish generally do well in 5 to 10 gallon tanks. However some need larger tank. Some need a heater & some do not it depends on the species. Generally they both are very peaceful fish. When your fry are free swimming you will need to start feed them. generally Baby brine shrimp is the easiest to feed them. I would also suggest that you try getting some starter clutters of micro worms or daphina. I would also suggest you do some research before you buy any eggs or fish online. That way you know exactly what your buying ahead of time. Best of luck to you & your new fry.
