Are juvenile delinquents more likely to be found in large families?

Judging by the PINS (Persons in Need of Supervision) that our family invited into our home when they were juvenile delinquents, my answer would have to be “no.” They were all from a family of one to three siblings. That’s not to say that large families won’t produce a juvenile delinquent, but chances are that the other kids in the family may play an important role in being deterrents.
