Are Judgmental People Leaders?
I’ve met talked and socialized with people who are consciously judgmental. How to know that they are judgmental – they deduce a person’s characteristic with what little knowledge they could gather and generalize based on that little knowledge. Definitely not someone to whom you could pour your heart into. But one may be bluffed to believe that they could relate emotionally with this type of people. They may be socially apt in showing empathy or social grace, but in fact are just part of ‘social acts’ that they learned through ‘scripts’ that they have mustered in their life. They could be the prolific leaders you see on screen, or might even be the one leader you believed. But when you get to know their personal side of their life – they judge and to a certain measure look down on people who they even help. To illustrate this, I’ll further elaborate the story of B.
