Are Jenday Conures good pets?
Jenday conures have wonderful, loving personalities. They make excellent pets (like all conures) as long as you can deal with some noise every now and then. Jenday conures are known to be just as sweet as sun conures, but usually with a slightly cheaper price tag (since they aren’t considered by many to be “as pretty” as sun conures). Jendays are fair talkers, they can learn a couple words or so (like most other conures), but like most conures, they don’t excel in the talking department. Jenday conures can be loud at times. However, this is true with almost any conure. Conures usually only get loud however, in the morning and evening for about 10 minutes each time. (Many Conures also will greet their “flock members” when they arrive home from school or work also).
