Are Java Network Appliances such as Azul Systems a viable route for Scalability?
This was selected as Best Answer The good and bad about Azul Systems is that software needs to be written in a way that can leverage multiple CPUs. Most applications are written to use a single thread of execution and run it as fast as possible where Azul may require a different approach. Web applications can benefit from Azul out of the box using the thread per request paradigm but in-house applications may require further engineering.
