Are Java cards gaining acceptance as a means of authentication?
Every citizen of Taiwan will have a Java card for identification that’s 50 million Java cards. The US department of defence is handing out Java cards to every employee. By doing this they have eliminated firewalls. Retailers have big distribution applications across data centres and franchisees and they have a mobile workforce.
