That depends on the type of investment it is. Pro Fed share accounts are insured by the aggregate amount to at least $250,000 by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF). Pro Fed IRAs are insured separately from other aggregate shares to at least $250,000. Investments through Pro-Fed Financial Advisors, Inc. are not deposits and are not NCUSIF insured. These investments may lose value. There is no credit union guarantee, and they are not insured by any federal government agency.
