Answer #8: It depends on if their state requires intrastate carrier to obtain a US DOT number, if they upload intrastate carrier violations and accident date into the Safetynet/MCMIS system, and if they do anyhting with the output of the system. What the states that require intrastate carrier to have a DOT number will do with CSA 2010 remains. As of 09/01/2009 Texas requires all intrastate carriers to obtain a US DOT number and the state does upload intrastate carrier information.
