Are international RAs “required” to attend the RA Workshop?

The RA Workshop is invitational, so international Research Assistants are not required to attend. However, those who are new to the RA role or new to the UW are strongly encouraged to attend if the Workshop schedule does not conflict with required departmental meetings or events.
