Are international laws relevant to real estate in Russia?
Under the general rule contained in the Federal Constitution and the Civil Code, generally recognised principles and rules of international law and international treaties of the Russian Federation form an integral part of its legal framework. In the field of real estate, however, the rules of international laws almost always never apply.
