Are international laws relevant to real estate in Norway?

0

In general, and for all practical purposes, international laws are not directly relevant to real estate law in Norway. All important areas of real estate law are regulated by national legislation, either statutes or regulations passed under the provisions of statutes. Norway is not a Member State of the EU. However, through the EEA agreement, which was ratified by the Norwegian Parliament in 1992, Norway is obliged to incorporate and apply EU legislation to the extent required by the EEA agreement.
