Are Insulin and Testosterone both proteins?

0

Insulin is protein, and yes, it would be digested if taken orally. Testosterone is a steroid which is a derivative of cholesterol. I’ve never heard of testosterone being oral, and i presume that it is the size of the molecule that prevents it from being absorbed. Prednisone, estrogen, and progesterone are all oral hormones that are available orally and derived from cholesterol.
