A. Yes. The control of measurement and test equipment, including tools, gages, and instruments, is required by 10 CFR 63 Subpart G. Measures are required to ensure these devices are properly controlled, calibrated and adjusted at specified intervals to maintain their accuracy within necessary limits. Requirements for the control of measuring and test equipment are described in Section 2.5.1.3 Acceptance Criterion 12 of the Yucca Mountain Review Plan.
