Are insecticide applications worthwhile if nearby infestations are discovered?
Most insecticides currently registered for EAB control must be applied every year. Treatments may be worthwhile to protect very valuable trees or to keep individual trees alive until non-susceptible replacement trees are large enough to provide satisfactory shade.
