Are information on account & transactions conducted Real Time?

The information/transactions through tele-banking are not exactly but almost ‘Real Time’ (i.e. Immediate). The account information & transactions are obtained from a PC loaded with the latest information of the accounts from Branch’s books through periodic “Data pumping” exercise at an interval determined by the Branch based on their perception of Customer’s requirements.
