Are individuals in the Information and Archive Management program able to take courses elsewhere in Columbia University?
Yes. As part of the degree requirements for the Information and Archive Management M.S. program, students take at least four elective courses beyond the required core courses. Up to two of these elective courses may be taken in other schools or departments of the University. Students must discuss their elective courses in advance with the director and academic director of the Information and Archive Management program.
