Yes, high school students who have completed 12 units of high school credit and are in the top 25% of their class may begin to earn college credit through the University of Missouri by enrolling in and successfully completing one or more college-level independent study courses. Students may take these college courses along with their high school courses or after graduation. To receive information about the University program, please call 1-800-609-3727, fax (573) 882-6808, email cdis@missouri.edu, or write to MU High School at the Center for Distance and Independent Study, 136 Clark Hall, Columbia, MO 65211-4200.
