Notification of DISA’s impending BRAC move is provided in the assignment announcement, in the member’s assignment special instructions, and in sponsorship materials mailed to members prior to arrival. All current DISA military members who serve as sponsors should also remind new personnel about the move prior to their arrival so they can make a conscious decision as to where to reside within the NCR.
