Are images/video that are public domain and held in the SDASM collection free to use?

A. No. While SDASM does not, and can not, claim copyright ownership of images/film considered in the public domain, SDASM reserves the right to require a fee for their use. This nominal fee enables the Museum to continue maintaining the collection so others may benefit from its existence in the future.
