Are IEEE-1500-Compliant Cores Really Compliant to the Standard?

Consequently, the race to market high-quality products with an ever shorter design-to-manufacturing cycle compels designers and manufacturers to emphasize the reuse of IP-embedded cores into SoC design. Core reuse also implies the ability to reuse the core test in the SoC test. IEEE Std 1500 for Embedded Core Test is currently one of the most effective solutions for supporting SoC manufacturing test, and it also allows easy interoperability among different cores.
