Are identical twins able to touch each other in the womb?

0

I have identical twin boys and I am sure they could touch. They have always been inseparable. When they were born we put them in the same crib, they were always touching. When we had to move them to separate cribs, we had to put the cribs together so they could reach through the bars and touch. They are 4 now and although we put them to bed in separate beds, almost every morning they are cuddled up together with arms and legs wrapped around each other in one bed.
